Stainless Steel 304

SS 304 rods are non
magnetic and have excellent corrosion resistance when in contact with different
corrosive media in different environments. Crevice corrosion and Pitting can
occur in chloride environments. At temperatures over 60°C stress corrosion
cracking can occur.
Stainless Steel 304 has
very good machinability, good weldability, and high strength and impact
properties in either normalized or hot rolled condition.
