Nickel Alloys

Monel Alloy 400, Monel Alloy K500, Alloy 625, Alloy 718, Alloy 80A, Hastelloy C276, Alloy 600 and Alloy 825 represent Anita Steel & Metals ever-expanding range of nickel alloys. These alloys offer properties including high strength and toughness, excellent performance at high temperature, excellent corrosion resistance in seawater and good resistance in hydrofluoric acid, dilute non-oxidising acid, alkalis and salts. As such, nickel alloys are widely used and specified for components in the offshore oil and gas, chemical processing and nuclear industries.

Our stock ranges from nickel copper through to high strength, temperature-resistant superalloy grades. Monel Alloy 400 (NA13, N04400) and Monel Alloy K500 (NA18, N05500) offer strength, hardness and corrosion resistance with good fabrication capabilities. The nickel chromium alloys, including inconel® 625, Alloy 718 (stocked to AMS5662 and API6A), Alloy 600 and Alloy 825, offer various levels of high temperature strength, pitting resistance, corrosion and erosion resistance in a wide range of organic and mineral acids as well as sulphides and chlorides. Hastelloy C276 has a high molybdenum content giving it a remarkable pitting and crevice corrosion resistance in a wide range of processing environments.
